and the yarn content is  67% mohair, 30% polyamide, 3% wool at £4.60 per reel

Hello everyone

I guess, like me you are trying to make the best of the lockdown that we are all in at the moment. The news is just horrific and it is just so emotional hearing the personal stories that are going on right now across the country. Thank goodness for the wonderful medics, support staff, delivery drivers and all those that are keeping the country on the go during this apalling situation.

I am finding my knitting and crochet does help to ease the mind, and although my Wool Shop is obviously closed at the moment  I am 'working' from home, so you can place your yarn orders through the website  as well as my ebay shop and Etsy store too, or you can email me if you can't see what you're looking for.

I am sending out parcels via a courier service which I think this is the safest method available.

I am listing some yarn bargains on Ebay, lots of them are £10 yarn bargains. These may be yarns of the same sort or perhaps they might be 'mixed lots'. I shall be listing these over the next few weeks so keep an eye out for them.

Suggested needle size is 7mm to 8mm so this will knit up really quickly. What about making some Christmas gifts now (yup sorry there's the other C word !)

Good Morning

Wow where has the last week gone ........... ?

I think I am still recovering from the glorious sporting weekend, I've always enjoyed tennis and Wimbledon is such a special tournament but cricket, to be honest is just not my thing unlike my sister who is an avid cricket fan but I got hooked (forgive the crochet pun)! in the final stages of the cricket match last Sunday as did most people I guess who were watching and really enjoyed it.

And I have finally got my personal Facebook back ........ something weird happened ages ago with my FB accounts, I had a personal FB page as well as the business 'Diss Wool Shop' FB, and sometime last year I lost the ability to share posts, see news feed, lost access to my groups ........ about the only thing I could do was to post on my Diss Wool Shop page.

I had tried numerous times to re-boot FB, change log-ins etc and also tried several times to contact the FB Help team and failed miserably in both my own attempts & to get a response from FB. I was getting so frustrated and actually on the point of deleting my FB account completely .....

And then happened to be chatting to a good friend recently who recommended a local computer repair guy Jo, who last week did help me with my FB issues, it's meant that I have had to re-start with friends & groups as my previous personal FB had completely disappeared  but at least I am back and can see my friends posts again .......!  So thank you to Joe from Bailiwick IT

Thank you I really do appreciate all your kind comments and no, I haven't found alternative premises yet, I have seen a couple but they haven't ticked enough boxes for me, I do have until the end of the year before I need to hand the building back so gotta bit more time as yet and hoping the right shop will come along very soon.
